New York Times Review
This is a great review from The New York Times about Daughter of a Gilded Age. Emily Post was a fascinating if slightly unlikeable character. I think we all felt like the book was a little long winded and could have been a few hundred pages shorter. However we did all love the historical information, setting and pictures that were included. I think we had most fun after the talk reading through her book about behavior and manners.
