I'm sorry the huge backlogg in book club notes ! but here goes.
First of all lets visit Alan Bradley the Author of Augusts book The Sweetness at the bottom of the pie. The first in the series about 11yr old Flavia de Luce, it is a delightfully humourous mystery novel, with great characters, precocious children and science experiments all mixed into one.
